This Privacy Policy explains how SneakyDev (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Movies & TV Shows Trailers application for Apple TV (the “App”) or visit this website.

1. Information handled by the App

You can use the App without creating a SneakyDev account. The App may store your preferences, watchlist, and viewed status locally on your Apple TV so that its features work as expected. This locally stored information remains on your device unless you choose to connect a third-party service or remove the App or its data.

2. Optional Trakt connection

If you choose to connect your Trakt account, the App processes the authorization credentials needed to access Trakt on your behalf and exchanges your watchlist and viewing history with Trakt. This connection is optional. Trakt processes your account information and synchronized data under its own Privacy Policy.

You can disconnect Trakt from the App. You can also revoke the App’s access from your Trakt account settings. Disconnecting the service does not automatically delete information already held by Trakt.

3. Third-party content services

The App retrieves movie and television metadata, artwork, and trailers from third-party services. When the App connects to these providers, they may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, device or app information, request details, and timestamps. Those providers process information according to their own privacy policies.

4. App Store purchases

Apple processes App Store purchases and related transaction information. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple’s handling of information is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Website and communications

This website does not provide user accounts, advertising cookies, or contact forms. Our hosting provider may process routine server logs, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, requested pages, and browser information, for security, reliability, and operational purposes.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. We use it only to respond, provide support, protect the App, or meet legal obligations.

6. How we use information

Where information is processed by us, we use it only as needed to:

• provide and maintain the App and its requested features;
• respond to support requests and communicate with you;
• diagnose technical issues and protect against misuse; and
• comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only when you request a third-party integration, with service providers acting on our behalf where necessary to operate the App or website, or when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security.

8. Retention and deletion

Information stored locally in the App remains until it is cleared or the App is removed. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain appropriate records, and comply with legal obligations.

To request deletion of personal information held directly by SneakyDev, contact us at the address below. Requests concerning Trakt, Apple, or another third-party service must be directed to that provider.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. International processing

Third-party services may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards and locations relevant to their processing.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise rights regarding information held directly by SneakyDev, contact us.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, the law, or our practices. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
